DU 2017 Online LLM LLB Admission Form, Imp Dates | du.ac.in: Takes cognizance of the Office of the Registrar Notification and would like to briefly state in the subsequent Paragraphs. Check out University of Delhi Notification for LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2017.

DU LLB | LLM Admissions 2017

The Office of the Registrar shall release in April 2017 Notification in respect of Bachelor of Laws / LL M. Entrance Examination for Admission into i) Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), II) Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program for the Academic Session 2017 2019; hence, Online Registration shall commence.

Course Eligibility Procedure for Admission
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Eligibility for Admission:

(i) The Eligibility Criteria for General, Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Candidates is as given in the Ordinance.

The Eligibility Criteria* for admission into LL.B. Degree Course is as follows:

(i) For General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates, Graduate / Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as Equivalent by the University of Delhi with Minimum 50% Marks or an Equivalent Grade Point in Aggregate in either of them. However, the Cut-off Marks for admission of OBC Candidates shall be up to 10% less than the Marks notified for the General Candidates in the Delhi University LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test.

(ii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates will be allowed to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Category. (In compliance of the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in P.V. Indiresan Vs. Union of India and Others).

(iii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates shall be allowed to Widows / Wards of the Defence Personnel (CW) Category.

(iv) Relaxation of up to 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates would be allowed in respect of the Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) / Physically Handicapped (PH) Category on the Recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed Procedure.

Strictly in order of Merit prepared on the basis of the Candidates respective Performance and Marks in the Entrance Test and Counseling.
Master of Laws (LL.M.) Eligibility for Admission:

(i) The Eligibility Criteria for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Candidates is as given in the DU Ordinance.

The Eligibility Criteria* for admission into Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Two-Years / Three-Years) Degree Course shall be as follows:

(i) For General Category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates, a Three-Years / Five-Years Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as Equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% Marks or an Equivalent Grade Point in Aggregate. However, the Cut-off Marks for admission of the OBC Candidates shall be up to 10% less than the Marks notified for the General Category Candidates in the Entrance Test.

(ii) The Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) having a Three Years / Five-Years LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as Equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 45% Marks or an Equivalent Grade Point in Aggregate in either of them.

(iii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for General Category Candidates will be allowed for the Widows / Wards of Ex-Servicemen / Serving Personnel (CW) Category.

(iv) Relaxation of up to 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Category Candidates will be allowed to the Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Physically Handicapped (PH) Category on the recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed Procedure.

(ii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates will be allowed to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Category. (In compliance with the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in P.V. Indiresan Vs. Union of India and Others).

(iii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates will be allowed for the Widows / Wards of Defence Personnel (CW) Category.

(iv) Relaxation of up to 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Category Candidates would be allowed for the Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Physically Handicapped (PH) Category on the recommendations of the Medical Board (MB) as per the prescribed procedure.

*The OBC Candidates shall be given a relaxation in the Minimum Eligibility in the Qualifying Examination and in the Minimum Eligibility (if any) in the Admission Entrance Test to the extent of 10% of the Minimum Eligibility Marks prescribed for the General Category Candidates. For example, if the Minimum Eligibility for the Candidates for admission into a Course is 50% for the General Category Candidates, the Minimum Eligibility for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) would be 45% Marks, i.e., (50% Marks, less 10% of 50% Marks).

It is reiterated that the Other Backward Classes Candidates who belong to the Non-Creamy Layer and whose Castes appear in the Central List of the OBC Scroll / List only shall be considered Eligible for Admission under the OBC Category.

The Controller of Examinations shall declare both Date/s for the UoD LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2017 as well as downloading of the e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets, likely to commence Minimum One Week before commencement of the Entrance Test.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations shall declare both Result and Merit Lists for admission into Bachelor of Laws & Master of Laws Courses; and Counseling Schedule likely to be notified towards June-end 2017.
