Gujarat GSET Exam 2017 Admit Card Hall Tickets Result Counselling | gujaratset.ac.in:  Gujarat SET 2017 Admit Cards: MSU Baroda is set to notify the Information / Alerts on 12th Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017 (in 23 Subjects) scheduled to be held on 27th August 2017 (27.08.2017). Gujarat SET 2017 e-Admit Cards Downloading, Eligible candidates list along with the detailed Exam schedule/ centre names etc are going to be mentioned by the Department here through shared links.

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, State Nodal Agency for Gujarat State Eligibility Test shall host on the 27th of August 2017 12th Gujarat State Eligibility Test in 23 / 24 Subjects. 

Gujarat SET 2017 e-Admit Cards Download:

In view of the upcoming 12th Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017 for Assistant Professors scheduled to be conducted on the 27th of August 2017, the State Nodal Agency for Gujarat State Eligibility Test Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, shall upload the electronic Admit Cards 07 Days before Gujarat SET 2017 is held. The State Agency will upload the electronic Admittance Cards on the Office Website.

The Candidates likely to appear in 12th Gujarat State Eligibility Test may be able to download their respective e-Admission Certificates, hence, commencing on the 19th / 20th of August 2017 onward.

The Syllabi for all the Papers remain the same as that of UGC / CSIR, National Eligibility Test (NET) Examination.

Scheme of Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017:

Maharaj Sayajirao University of Baroda shall host Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017 for Eligibility for Assistant Professors, which shall be based on the Subjects, opted for by the Candidates as per following Pattern:

Session Paper No. Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions Marks Examination Duration
First I 60 Out of 50 Multiple Choice Questions to be attempted 100 1 Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.)
First II 50 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions and all MCQs are compulsory 100 1Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 Noon)
Second III 75 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type and all MCQs are compulsory 150 2 Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)

Procedure and Criteria for Declaration of the Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2017 Result:

The University Grants Commission has determined the Minimum Qualifying Marks for the Candidates to be considered Eligible for Assistant Professors / Lecturers as stated here under:

Step I It is mandatory for the Candidates desiring to appear in the Gujarat State Eligibility Test to secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be considered for award of Assistant Professor / Lectureship as herein above.
Step II Amongst those candidates who have cleared Step I, Merit List would be drawn up (Subject-wise and Category-wise) by using the Aggregate Marks secured by the Candidates in the above Three Papers.
Step III Top 15% Candidates (for each Subject and Category), from the Merit List mentioned under Step II shall be declared Eligible as State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for Lectureship only.
Step IV Gujarat State Level Eligibility Test Commission would draw up a Separate Merit List for awarding the Junior Research Fellowship to the Candidates from amongst the NET Qualified Candidates figuring in the Merit List under Step III.
Furthermore, Gujarat State Eligibility Test makes the aforestated Qualifying Criteria FINAL & BINDING on the Candidates.

In case the Subject of a Candidate is not included in the List of SET Subjects, the Candidate may appear in UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET, which is held Twice a Year.
