Candidate who intends to be a teacher for levels (i) and (ii) (i.e. Teacher for classes I to V and VI to VIII) and fulfills minimum qualifications for both levels will have to apply On-line for both separately. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions as given on the website for submitting On-line Application for more than one levels.
TS TET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:
All aspirants who possess minimum educational qualifications etc as delineated in the service rules relating to the teachers of all the three levels (Level-1, Level-2 & Level-3) and also in these guidelines are eligible to take the test (HTET) which will be conducted for the following three levels :-
- For classes I to V
- For classes VI to VIII
Minimum Qualification for Primary Stage (Classes I-V) Teacher-
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Minimum Qualification for Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII) Teacher:
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).

The selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Telangana TET 2017. Being Eligible for selection in Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test 2017, candidates should have score minimum of 60% marks in TET Exam.
Pass Criteria in TET: The criteria for considering pass in TS-TET are as follows:
- i) General 60% and above ii) BC 50% and above iii) SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH)** 40% and above
Telangana State TET 2017 Admit Cards:
School Education Telangana will release the Notification for the issue of Admit Cards for Telangana Teachers Eligibility Test/ Telangana TET 2017. Telangana TET 2017 Admit cards are likely to be issued at the website of the Board Tentatively 2 weeks prior to Examination.
