Mohenjo Daro is another movie by Ashutosh Gowarikar with Hrithik Roshan and it is fighting with Akshay Kumar’s Rustom on box office in this weekend. Mohenjo Daro is 4500 years old story of a place named Mohenjo Daro. It is a story of a normal farmer’s son who was actually a son of an Ex-king of Mohenjo Daro. His father was betrayed and killed by his enemy and his son (Hrithik) fights back and gets his kingdom back and save the kingdom with the brutal rule of enemies.
Songs are also not able to catch people. They are slow and ancient kind of music. Pooja Hegde is making debut in this film and she doesn’t look very good in the movie.
Mohenjo Daro Sunday Box Office Collections
Movie doesn’t have much to show, there is nothing new in the story and nothing is different there in the movie for you. Even trailer is not fascinating enough to attract people to movie hall. Although movie is better than the trailer but not good enough to appraise. On the other side, Akshay Kumar’s Rustom is getting good reviews from people and critics both which is making more difficult for Mohenjo Daro to gain its box office collections.
Rustom all shows are almost full where Mohenjo Daro is struggling to fill its occupancy even by 60%. Single screen cinemas choose to showcase Rustom instead of Mohenjo Daro which makes more difference in number of shows of a movie.
After all odds, Mohenjo Daro is manage to collect 8.87 crores on Friday and on Saturday box office collections boost up a little bit. It is manage to earn 11 crore on Saturday. Mohenjo Daro Sunday Box Office collection was not a miracle and it earns 11.5 crores with same flow.
