The Pro Kabaddi (PKL5) 2017 is played in a zonal format where top three teams from each zone will qualifying for the play offs. This year, there is one qualifier and two eliminators and the winner of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will play the first Eliminator 1 while the winner of Qualifier 3 will go directly in the final and the loser will play against the Winner of Eliminator 1 in the Eliminator 2, the winner will reach the final.

The final of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL5) 2017 to be held on October 28 in Chennai and the competition will get tougher for the teams this season as matches and teams have been increased. It is very difficult to predict who will reach the semifinals because all the 12 teams have talented players in their squad. Anything can happen in the league stage, so all the teams will hope to start their PKL 2017 campaign with a win. It will be fun to see who will become a hero this season of Pro Kabaddi League 2017.
