Today TRAI has announced all offers of Reliance Jio is promotional and asked them to limit all offers upto 90 days and has announced to end all offers upto 3 December as it was started on 5th of September. But Jio has manager to give all offers upto 31st of December as announced on the launch date. But users who will buy Jio sim after 3rd of December will not be able to use any perks of this promotional offer. After 31st December, Jio will come with new offers which will offer data at best rates compare to other telecom networks.

But there is a rumour in the news that free voice calling feature is also valid till 31st December. After that Jio will charge for voice calls also, that is completely false. Jio free voice call is not a promotional offer although it is a feature. Reliance Jio will never charge for voice calls, text messages and national roaming.

Jio’s Free Voice Offer For Lifetime

Media houses have written many articles saying Welcome Offer will end on 3rd December but it is not true and they did not confirm with Jio before publishing said articles. After Jio issued a media release saying that Jio Welcome offer will be free for existing Jio users till 31st December making the news sites edit their articles but the damage is already done as the titles have not been edited hence the article is misleading and of clickbait nature.

This is also spread by the other telecom networks. Other telecom networks are trying very hard to defame Jio which is not good. If they want to compete with Jio, they can also offer data at competitive rates. Recently TRAI recommends fine of Rs. 3,050 crore to Airtel, Vodafone and Idea after it found they were denying new entrant Reliance Jio sufficient interconnection points.

According to Jio, Airtel, Vodafone and Idea are not allowing its users to connect to their networks which causes call drop and put bad impression to users about Jio connection. Jio file a complaint to trial regarding this and responding to Jio’s complaints over the denial of points of interconnection (PoI), TRAI recommended a fine of Rs. 50 crore per telecom zone for each of the three operators.  Airtel and Vodafone India were fined for 21 zones each while Idea was fined for 19 zones in a country with a total of 22 telecoms zones or circles.

Apart from all perks of voice call, messages and national roaming, other promotional plans like 25% more data for students on all plans, 1 year free data on all iPhone purchase from 5SE to 7+ will be valid after 31st December also.

Reliance Jio has the cheapest data rate right now and it has the highest consumption of data  among all telecom operators and it is committed to provide cheapest rate after promotional offer also.
