Sony Mix, famous Hindi channel has started a new initiative called “The Dhun Project” to empower Musicians around the country. Aim is not only to empower them but to educate people across all levels so that they can contribute more to music society. This initiative has also been started to give financial help to artists who have talent.
To promote this initiative, Sony Mix has decided to contribute 10 lakh rupees each year to this project: “The Dhun Project”. (Spic Macay is the non-profit organization which promotes India classical music and culture amongst youth). This year, Roshan Ali, a Dholak player was helped with Rs 10 Lakhs by this Dhun Project. This is the best way to celebrate 5th Anniversary by a music channel. Nothing can be better than to contribute towards music society by a music channel on its 5th Anniversary.
