Airtel New 3G/4G Offer: 1GB Data At Rs. 51


To tackle new and most popular (right now) player in the telecom market, biggest player of the market i.e. Airtel introduced a new scheme. Airtel slashed prices of 3G/4G data by 80%. Earlier you can buy a 1GB 3G/4G pack at Rs. 259 if you are an Airtel customer but now you can get it in just Rs. 51.

Yes it is true and this is because of gaining popularity of a Reliance Jio. Airtel has to do something to stop its customers to get shifted to another network. That’s why Airtel slashed price by 80%.

But there is a twist in the condition. To avail this offer, you have to give Rs. 1499 initially and in that price you will get 1GB Data with 28 days validity. After this, for every subsequent recharge of Rs. 51 will give you 1 GB data with validity of 28 days upto 12 months. So for you next 12 months, you can get 1 GB data at price of Rs. 51 without any number of recharges capping.

This scheme will save you at-least Rs. 1000 in a month if your monthly consumption is exactly 1 GB and you will save more money if your consumption is more. Your saving will increase with your consumption.

This offer seems not beneficial for some people or may be people might feel uncomfortable in paying 1500 bucks in one go in the present scenario. Due to this, Airtel is planning to come with another plan in which you have to give just Rs. 748 and you will get Rs. 99 per 1 GB data with validity 28 days and this offer will be applicable for next 6 months. It is kind of half plan of the above one.

Airtel in July started offering up to 67 per cent more data in existing 4G and 3G schemes which was followed by Idea Cellular and Vodafone.

Airtel 1GB 3G Offer

Earlier this month, Airtel made voice calling free even in roaming under a new plan for Rs 1,199 which also included 1GB of 3G or 4G data depending on availability of network.

Players like Airtel and Idea have upped the ante in mobile data pricing ahead of the upcoming commercial launch by Reliance Jio. The company had said it has over 1.5 million test users on its network.

Airtel and other networks are trying very hard with their new offers to retain their customer and on the other side Reliance Jio is planning to give 1 year free data usage to its users.
